CT Brewery March Madness 2020: Sweet Sixteen

Three quarters of the field are eliminated, only sixteen breweries remain! The Round of 32 had an abundance of great match-ups and many them wound up exceedingly close.

Tox (5) defeated Outer Light (4) by a hair in the Mystic Regional, while Kinsmen (6) took down Armada (3) in the New Haven bracket. In the closest game of the week Skygazer (5) triumphed over Little House (69). The boys from Chester took an early lead, but by midway through the second half, the crowd became visibly frustrated when Little House attempted the same move over and over and over and over again. All of the other top seeds in the Round of 32 advanced.

There are formidable match-ups everywhere in the Regional Semi-Finals. New Park (2) and Back East (3) duke it out in Hartford, while Kent Falls (2) and Tribus (3) are an interesting pairing in the Stamford region.

Tox Brewing (5) has already knocked out a goliath in Outer Light (4) and an awesome CT Brewery in Black Pond (12). Can their hot streak continue against the field’s overall #1 – Fox Farm (1)?

Lastly, both Sweet Sixteen games in New Haven have huge appeal. Kinsmen (6) tries to knock-off Alvarium (2), while the old faces the new when NEBCO (1) takes-on Skygazer (5).
